BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT

Eyelash Extensions

 Lash Lift

Eyebrow Lamination

  • If you wear waterproof mascara, discontinue use 3 days prior to your appointment. The compounds in these products will remain on the lashes, even after properly cleansing. This will prevent the extension adhesive from properly bonding and you may experience premature lash loss.
  • Arrive with a freshly clean face and impeccably clean lashes.

  • Avoid oil based products on and around the eyes.  Apply eye cream sparingly, if at all. If you use an oil based makeup remover, make sure that is removed completely from the eyes as well.

  • Remove your contacts, if you wear them. It is recommended that clients wear glasses the day of treatment.

  • Remove all eye makeup, contact lenses, and false eyelashes before your appointment

  • Avoid curling your natural lashes for at least 24 hours prior to treatment

  • Stop using waterproof mascara 48 hours before your procedure since it leaves behind unwanted residue

  • Avoid using exfoliating (AHA, BHA or scrubs) and anti-ageing skincare around the brow area for three days either side of your treatment.
  • Avoid fake tanning products on the face for three days either side of your treatment, as it can discolour the eyebrow tint (unless you’re after khaki coloured brows).
  • You should avoid applying any heavy make-up (foundations, etc) on the area around the brow for 24 hours

AFTER YOUR TREATMENT

  • Avoid getting your lashes wet for the first 24 hours and avoid steam, saunas and swimming until 48 hours after treatment.
  • Try not to touch or rub your eye area, it can transfer oil and bacteria on to your lashes.
  • Gently cleanse and wash your lashes daily.
  • Take care when cleansing that you don’t manipulate your lashes into different positions.
  • Brush your lashes frequently using a spoolie to maintain their shape.
  • Aim to avoid sleeping on your front so your lashes don’t get disturbed.
  • Avoid lash curlers, they can be harsh on your natural lashes.
  • Used water-based products aviding waterproof make-up and oil-based products.
  • Don’t get your lashes wet for the first 48 hours, and avoid steam, saunas and swimming. It’s also worth avoiding the gym or heavy exercise for the first 24 hours.
  • For tinted lashes, avoid strong sunlight or UV light for the first 24 hours.
  • Try not to touch or rub your eye area, especially when washing or cleansing your face.

  • Don’t use lash curlers, they can be harsh on your natural lashes. With  a lash lift you won’t need them anyway.
  • Do not use oil-based make-up or remover. Use water-based alternatives.
  • Brush your lashes with a spoolie after showering to maintain their shape.
  • Avoid getting the brow area wet for 24 hours.
  • Avoid contact with direct sunlight, sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms and swimming pools for the next 48 hours.
  • Avoiding excessive rubbing or touching of the treated area for 24 hours.
  • Brush them back into place with a spoolie after showering and in the morning to get them back to that fluffy finish – no product required.
